Father & Mrs Christmas

If you’ve been very good, Father and Mrs Christmas will visit your historic site or museum and spread a little festive cheer. Christmas is a very busy time for Santa and he needs the help of all the little ones to sort his presents on time. As a reward for their help, the jovial fellow suggests a story, which will be read by Mrs Christmas from the magical story book. This can either be a traditional poem, such as ‘A visit from St Nicholas‘ (The Night before Christmas), or it can be a brand new story, crafted by published author Karen Hamilton-Viall. Then it’s time for presents! You’ll need to provide the presents, as Santa’s presents are being prepared by the elves for the big day. Mrs Christmas will tell some festive jokes and jingle her bells to entertain the wee ones whilst they wait for their special moment. She’ll also guide them in and out of the grotto.

Santa can also bring along some old-fashioned presents with him, if you wish, to decorate the room; such as a wooden sled, dolls, and wrapped presents, to add a little festive flair. He will have his naughty list with him, so the kids can make sure that they’re not on it!

A heart-warming and magical occasion for your visitors to treasure. We can also provide extra touches, such as Santa’s planned route and some flickering (safe) candles and lanterns to add a little more ambience to the room. Please let Santa know that you’d like these things well in advance, so he can ask the elves to remind him to bring them on the day.

Young or old will be delighted by their magical experience with Father Christmas. A memory to treasure for a lifetime and maybe tell their own grandkids about one day. We hope you enjoy your visit from St. Nicholas!

Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
