Below is a list of all the museums and historic sites we’ll be attending this year in addition to all our school work:

February

10-18 – Eltham Palace – Half-term. Medieval Crime & Punishment at Eltham Palace – Be put on trial by the sheriff, judge your peers and perhaps be put through some minor punishments in our medieval trials, held in the great hall.

April

6 – Brenchley Gardens, Maidstone – Medieval day. We’ll be running our toys and games and crime and punishment trials.

May/June

25 May – 2 June – Witley Court – Half- term fun. Victorian toys and games at Witley Court.

July/August

27 July – 2 August – Framlingham Castle – Scribe school. Have a go writing with a quill and learn abou the marvellous beasts in medieval manuscripts. Little ones can colour a dragon.

6-8 August – Carisbrooke Castle – Knights tournament – Alongside the knight’s tournament we’ll be running Scribe school. Have a go writing with a quill, try your hand at gothic script, and learn about the marvellous beasts in medieval manuscripts. Little ones can colour a dragon.

24 August – 1 September – Dover Castle – Medieval toys and games – Come and play with medieval toys and games at this historic castle.

October/November

26 October – 3 November – Battle Abbey – Come along for witch training – gather your ingredients for a spell to summon a familiar and learn to fly a broom around our course. Visit our folklore museum and come face to face with the devil, meet a mermaid and print your own witch protection mark.
